@arismac - you may also be interested in participating in our Colorectal Cancer group https://connect.mayoclinic.org/group/colorectal-cancer. Are you still planning to participate in the CBD trial you'd mentioned you volunteered for, or are you planning on maintaining the isolate powder instead?
Hi everyone. I too suffer from osteoarthritis. Fibromyalgia & peripheral neuropathy and was wondering how or where does one find trials for CBD? I live in Los Angeles. I've even tried signing up for OA trials _ told I don't qualify because I've had hip replacement surgery however my knees & feet are gone
Can barely walk some days-like today for instance. Any thoughts?

My GP (General Practitioner - Family Doctor) and Oncologist needs to recommend me to the THC/CBD trials which they have done. So I will be delighted to report progress here or in whichever forum conversation would be interested.
My colorectal (sigmoid) cancer is likely to attract some interest as I am the complainant in a court case in which the Australian Government is the respondent. My claim is that my colorectal cancer is in consequence of medically approved but completely inappropriate and excessive use of non-ionising radiation by a Registered Dermatolgist in the service of the government of the day. Again I am most willing to report progress if the interest exists.
I have been using CBD from hemp for a month. It helps with the burning in my hands. I am 63 yrs old and I have mono Neuritis multiplex. It also works excellent on constipation from my pharma drugs. Àt night I also have 3 puffs of concentrated THC oil which calms the neuropathy and helps me sleep. To strong for daytime use for me. I don't want to be high all day.
G'day Margot, I have been using CBD powder not THC oil. Both can be obtained on prescription in Australia, but are very expensive. I have sourced my CBD Isolate powder in SE Asia for a much lower price.
Depends on which state you live in. Here in Nevada it is legal. But this is a cottage industry. You have to trust your supplier 100%, because there are no standards, no government testing, no way to independently verify what you are getting. It may say 1,000 mg per ounce (which mine does), from Cura Wellness in Oregon. But so what? Nevertheless less I use CBD tincture (oil) orally for my idiopathic peripheral neuropathy. Some days it seems to help, but on other days no benefit
Yes CBD oil works wonders on neuropathy, carpal tunnel, arthritis, nerve pain, muscle pain, back pain, knee pain. I know because I purchased some online for severe pain. It WORKS.

I have been using CBD made here from cannabis and am told that it is much better than CBD made from hemp. This CBD contains about 5% THC, not enough to notice. Its relieves the pins/needles feeling in my feet.
thanks. I have been using CBD tincture (oral) 100 % CBD: useless. This may be because I have had it for 30 years. I read somewhere that it's more effective in early stages, not later like mine
Hi,
I tried 3 diff cbd products from one company, didn't help and made me stoned and very uncomfortable.
My neurologist referred me to a company called Vireo , they are in several states.
I not only tolerate this new "brand", I have received very good pain relief
I first tried their middle 50/50 , in vape, was fine, not irritating at all, but not enough relief.
The next time I ordered a next level stronger oil, and the same vape.
Significantly decreased my pain.
I'm not pain free, I'm able to manage what's there better.
Wanted to let u know as it seems different suppliers in medical marijuana have completely different effects. Hope this helps
A lil.

Hi, @sore_debbie64 This might be a good place to start looking for CBD trials, at the NIH Finding a Clinical Trial page https://www.nih.gov/health-information/nih-clinical-research-trials-you/finding-clinical-trial.

Where have you been purchasing the THC oil and how much is it? Thanks
