Did my walk around the block today! Walking for mood lift.
I wasn't feeling well this morning (so much anger lately on the news, facebook, etc - have to go on a "diet" away from all that fighting - it affects me), so I went just now for my walk around the block, the sunshine, met and talked to a neighbor, and I'm chilly : ) but feel so much better. I think that's 3 days in a row. (2?). But, if you can walk okay, I highly recommend it !!! for a mood lift! Naturally! Just 10 minutes or so around the block. I know that some form of exercise will be a big part of my recovery plan. I just walk at a slightly faster than normal pace. (Because it's so cold today!) lol Feel better everybody. We all know what this is like and I'm proud of all of us for what we endure and may easier, healthier, happier, more prosperous days lie ahead for us all and soon!

I went for a walk today and that never happens lol...took half hour and was home again. Cold and windy but better than snow 🙂 As you get older you should exercise more and pump those tired muscles up!! I hope to be more regular.
Congratulations! I did the same and had a similar thought "it may be only 38, but at least it is better than snow!" Cheers and way to go!

I did my walk around the block about 1/2 hour ago. Did exercises and meditation.
WAY TO GO! GOOD JOB!
Good for you. Walking and outside are good combination. I stopped at a nice park on my way home from work yesterday and walked. A short walk but it did boost my mood. But I didn't do it today and wish I did. I think I'll try to do some other form of exercise this evening even if only for a few minutes.
Have you ever tried doing guided meditations? I often have trouble sleeping and find it very relaxing. Some are even meant to put you to sleep. I have found them on YouTube and I have a couple meditation apps.
Everyone who wants to stay in this group, provide emails, etc. and maintain our health and be held accountable, please stick with this. Maybe someone can figure out a way to format such a checking in. Should we have penalties and rewards? Let's discuss.
