Wanted: Organ Transplant Recipients Who Have Been Hit By a Car
"Are there any transplant recipients of any organ who have been hit by a car? How did you recover? What helped you to recover from the multiple injuries?
I am posting this discussion question on behalf of one of our members,
@glinda who has recently been hit by a car and asked me to do it for her. Due to multiple injuries, she may not be able to respond right now and can read your messages.
Your support and encouragement will be appreciated as she recovers.

I can feel the sunshine and warm summer breeze!
We call them Red Wing Blackbirds. They are a delight to see among the cattails in a nearby pond. Now that you brought up this memory, I don't recall seeing them last several years? Might be because I have changed my walking route. I am going to investigate this when summer comes. How's that for an exciting goal:-)
Beautiful picture picture, @parus.
Oh-ka-lee! Oh-ka-lee!

@contentandwell Common here once the weather warms here in Hoosierland. @rosemarya mentioned-Red Wing Black Birds. Almost made 50 here today with more ice and snow moving in. So pleased with myself as I walked a couple of errands today-a good 2 miles and @glinda I thought about you as I felt the sun upon my face.
@glinda Thankful it went well. What an adventure and journey you are on!!
@parus I am so ready for warm weather. I really don't mind the heat that much usually but these days, since my medications are giving me hot flashes, I might mind it more. I throw off the covers multiple times each night. I know this is an effect from immunosuppressants but it doesn't seem like it's that common, I guess I'm just one of the lucky ones.

@glinda Glinda, Safe travels tomorrow. We will be thinking of you. Rosemary
Hi Rosemary, just wanted to let you know they cancelled my appointments at Rochester for tomorrow my transplant team and my social worker at inclusa which is one of my insurances and the social worker here at the rehabilitation center thought it would be to much as it's a 2 hour ride then an all day appointments then another 2 hour trip home so I'm going to see one of the orthopedic surgeons down here to see if I can get the stiches out in my left leg and right hip I'm hoping they say yes will keep you informed on how it goes
