What strategies do you use when Dr not listening or taking serious?
Does anyone else have trouble getting dr to listen to them? For 50yr my birth defect went undiagnosed. I understood, it only showed up in the right conditions. Since 09 I've added all kinds of arythmias. It's been gradually changing to something new. Went to Er..chest pain, short breath, BP 211/194...left after aspirin+nitro ... and script i can't take. They tell you to get help, but no one listens.

@rashida This is yet another reason why we stay in the Twin Cities, Minnesota. You can find awesome medical care here, and our doctors and clinics are often in the forefront adopting medical "best practices."

2 Reactions@sing26 I do the same! They wanted to switch me to Pradaxa, which has all the same side effects as Eliquis, plus a high risk of gut bleeds. My mother died of a gut bleed - I am not taking Pradaxa. Especially when the Watchman exists.

1 ReactionIf I eat carbohydrates that raise my blood sugar I feel I risk my heart racing. Do you notice any change in your heart beats when you eat certain foods, that your heart will begin to race, to start beating faster?
