Where to purchase 7% saline without prescription?

Posted by lindenflower @lindenflower, Sep 25 10:55am

Hi friends,
I’m having hard time getting 7% saline- my insurance doesn’t cover it.
If I purchase it with cash from my pharmacy, I was told, I risk to lose my insurance.
Do you know of places that sell legitimate 7% saline without prescription?
I’m tired of making it, it takes a lot of time every day.

@lindenflower When I did not have coverage for 7% saline, I purchased BaseLabs or Naveh brands on Amazon. I believe other members have used RespEase brand from there as well.

Naveh is no longer available in the US. I always bought theirs and wish they were still available. I find the BaseLabs to have a subtle smell/taste that must be due to the plastic they use? But no issue with them otherwise when I have used. I do have an extremely good sense of smell so I doubt most people would even notice it.

@debusa no my doctor sends the Rx to my Walgreens and they automatically apply the Good Rx coupon. Have done this for several years.

Still trying to get Medicare to cover thru my DME provider. For the time being getting at Kroger because my Walgreen supplier can’t get it in. Kroger has some discount, but not as much as GoodRx

@crjander That's a great price, I will have to see if my doctor will change my prescription to 3 months. Definitely a better deal. Thanks!

@mjb24 I get the 3month with 3 refills so no hassle with rx. For a year. My Walgreens doesnt stock it so it takes several days or so to get tĥem all in. They try to give me just one
if i need it soon but thats about 22.00 so i always order well ahead to avoid that. And just wait til they say the whole order is in.

@crjander your insurance coverage for saline must be better in general. One month for me is $46 compared to your $22…oh well
