Has anyone used GLP-1 therapy with EPI?
My daughter still suffers from the effects of Long Covid. She was recently put on GLP-1 therapy to deal with the symptoms. She tells me the overall health effect is amazing, and recommended a book she read in support of the therapy. (I don’t know if I can mention the book title). She told me the book reminded her of my symptoms. I read it, and it seems spot on. I have absolutely no reason to explain why I have EPI. Not even a hint of the traditional underlying causes. I am wondering if the GLP-1 will help me. I am so excited to talk to my doctor about it when I go this coming week. Has anyone out there tried GLP-1 therapy, with an EPI diagnosis?

I'll be on the lookout for any information you receive on GLP-1 therapy, as I also have EPI.
Which one did she use ?
@fred41
I saw my gastroenterologist this past Wednesday. I asked her about it, and she was enthusiastic. I am technically about 30 pounds overweight, have a slightly enlarged liver, and my blood pressure has gone from a steady 111/77 my entire life, to 144/88. We believe the GLP-1 may solve all these problems; reduce my weight, reduce my blood pressure, and eliminate the enlarged liver. In addition, a common side effect of a GLP-1, is constipation, which is a good thing for me! She prescribed the lowest dose of Zepbound. My insurance will not pay for it, so I am jumping through some hoops. I will keep you posted.
