New Meds for COPD
I was just prescribed Formoterol and Budesonide and Outovare. Has anyone used these before and results?
Thank you

Ohtuvayre is a medication nebulizer on its own! What’s the brand medication your using?
All three are nebulizer treatments.
@tia8marie other than Ohtuvayre what the other brand named nebulizers
I use budesonide formoterol (generic Symbicort) in inhaler form, 2X/day. I also use Incruse Ellipta, an inhaler, 1X/day. For awhile, I used Ohtuvayre nebulizer because the inhalers weren't not doing much. I used Ohtuvayre for two months and had absolutely no benefit from it, at which point, my doctor agreed I should discontinue it. Unfortunately, one never know what will make a difference with these COPD meds. It's all trial and error. The research is terrible, except for those with asthma. The rest of the "COPD" umbrella conditions, drug efficacy seems to be case-by-case. None of them have done much for me and I've tried many of them over the years.
I use Breztri which has 3 medications in one, 2 are ones that you mention. It is my maintenance inhaler that I use twice a day.
Ohtuvayre I use with a nebulizer also twice a day.
I have nothing but positive to say about both.
Everyone reacts differently to the medications so my only recommendation is try to patient when starting something new. Sometimes it can take a bit before you see any positive change.
Good luck!
