One of the most important things you should do when you receive a medication is Reid the information the pharmacy gives you. It will tell you if there is a chance for a swelling or edema of the legs. I had issues with one of your other drugs, causing the swelling of my leg, and I was so happy to get off of it.
Talk to the pharmacist google it to be your own investigator.
And make an appointment for a sit down with your family doctor.
Every person is different. Our DNA is different so everyone will have different reaction reactions to a medication.. Some may not have any so may have minor too severe.

I don't think it's one of those SEs that goes away with continued use. If not bothersome stay on it, but likely will get worse instead of better. Since you're likely to be on some sort of BP med for a long time, I'd look to 86 it.

I don't take amlodipine. My edema is pretty much under control. I do take Dyazide and Furosemide which are "water" pills. Still wear compression socks also.

If you do compression socks, I have found Bamba’s to have some Knee highs that are just right for me. I have short legs and seems like everything is way too long. So the kneehighs from Bamba’s work well
Or do whatever your doctor recommends
