@labrown Yes…I wasn’t clear in my post. My husband is also using the Rivastigmine patches. We opted out of the infusions because he is at risk for brain bleeds.

3 ReactionsWhat type of Dementia does your DH have? Mine has early Vascular Dementia. He is also on the Rivastigmine. He has no side effects. He was on the aircept, but was changed to Rivastigmine 4.6 MG/24HR about a year ago- just this week his dosage was increased Rivastigmine (EXELON) a higher dose. Due to lesser ADL (activities in daily living). Best wishes - and prayers.

What blood test did he have that ruled out alzheimer’s. We were told Jim has Vascular Dementia with a touch of azheimer’s and primary progressive aphasia.
