Anyone taking Mirtazapine? Is it working for you? Any side effects?
Has anyone been taking Mirtazapine? Like to know if they have taken themselves off and how did you do it?

Your GP needs to listen to his patients. Thats crazy telling you to stsy on it for 6 months when you have serious side effects. Tell him to go on it and suffer through the side effects for 6 months. It makes me so angry to hear that this happened to you. I couldn't take it either because of the same reason.I got off myself. Take care and get a new GP. God Bless
@kittyjohnson1964 hi thanks for replying. Yes I now feel that unless I take the medication I will not get any support from the surgery.
I have had mixed symptoms this week after stopping it on Monday but I want to see it through!. Sleep is now the main issue
@dennismm I just want to say that in my experience mind and every brain in each individual can work differently. If what you're taking isn't helping with your problem you must talk to your doctor. We have to take control of our health these days especially.

No one knows your body as well as you do. Always remember doctors do NOT have lived experience with the disease. They go by the medical books. If you give a medication a good try and it doesn’t work stop and say I want something else. Not every patient responds the same way. Good luck 😀
