Welcome to the Neuropathy group.
This is a welcoming, safe place where you can meet other people who are dealing with neuropathy. Let’s learn from each other and share stories about living well with neuropathy, coping with the challenges and offering tips.

Hello @hobyno, I see you joined last year and this is your first post so I would like to welcome you to Connect. Another member @preacherswife1977 mentioned MetanxPro Nerve Health and may have some experience to share with you. Your member profile mentions that you have already started working on slowing or possibly stopping the progression of your idiopathic length dependent peripheral neuropathy with diet and exercise which is a great start.

@accordionsolo Please, if you have any problems with balance, use of a cane or walker is very important. I’ve also been fortunate to get some Physical Therapy to strengthen my leg muscles too. Just a thought… 🙏

@hobyno Please do an online search for reviews of this product. Most of these kinds of things are typically scams. Don't let scammers take your hard earned dough.

In searching for reviews of MetanxPro Nerve health, it seems to get a fairly good review, helping a lot of patients with their burning feet.

Hi
I am new to this group. I developed neuropathy out of nowhere this past April 2026.
Trying to figure out what is normal
I am not diabetic nor have I had chemo. Knee Replacement in Feb of 2026. I take Cymbalta 60 mg and many supplements . I have also been taking some laser treatments that I thought helped at first , but now I am not sure . Living with numbness and cold feet and ankles is daily
Today the bottom of both feet are sore like I walked on rocks
So depressing that this could be my new norm

@joshb24 Welcome to the group. Sorry you joined under less than ideal circumstances. Like you, I didn't even know that there was such a thing as idiopathic Polyneuropathy. I went for an emg back in 2024. I had lower back pain and was trying to mitigate it. I've had a pain pump since 2023 but it has never helped. A few months after the EMG, i began to feel like I was walking on rocks. Today I still have the back pain along with pain radiating down both legs and into my feet. I am taking more meds than I can count. Nothing seems to help. But, it is important to keep a positive attitude. New treatments are being developed all the time. This world is just our temporary home. Heaven waits for those who call God their heavenly father.

@heisenberg34 thank you for reaching out ! Yes we are but dust .. I continue to navigate best I can praying for new research to bring all of us relief from this mystery disease ..

Hello @joshb24, I would like to add my welcome to Connect along with @heisenberg34 and others. Happy to see that you have found Connect. Neuropathy can be difficult to manage and like @heisenberg34 mentioned it is definitely good to keep a positive attitude. We are our own best advocate and the more we learn about the condition, causes and possible treatments that can provide some relief the better it is for us. You mentioned you developed neuropathy out of nowhere this past April. Have you seen a neurologist or had any testing done for diagnosing neuropathy? Is the Cymbalta for neuropathy pain, or do you just have numbness and cold feet?
