What is a time, activity, place, etc., that brought peace/serenity?
SCUBA diving always brought me peace. I think it was because I had to stay present and the beauty of being underwater.

@shmerdloff I had a similar experience except it was in the cattle barn at my grandparents. My cousin and I were kids, playing up in the hay loft. We had so much fun...later, however, my grandmother discovered ticks on both of us......ECK

2 ReactionsI stared at the sky looking for the meteor shower, and it forced me to be still and not move. It also gave me quiet time to think, which can be rare. 🌟

5 Reactions@gracie5858 So beautiful that you express your gratitude to your donor and his family on your early morning walk with your dog. I am a stage 4 appendix cancer survivor in remission who has so far defied the odds. I too share a similar routine with my 2 dogs. It’s a very special time of day. Love the fresh new day and the peacefulness. I never let my mind deal with problems during that walk. It’s a time to commune with nature and count my blessings I am still here to enjoy it

7 ReactionsAs soon as I immerse myself in water I feel free and alive. Swimming is my salvation. I love how my body weightless and enveloped in a soothing medium.

@laurabamford4015 I truly love water as well, especially the ocean. I do not have a pool, would love that. Maybe one day.

3 ReactionsI grew up on a farm in the 1950's with 40 acres of Douglas Fir trees on a dirt road. We had a little house and a barn. Summers were so peaceful with just me and Mom and 4 dogs, 6 cats and kittens, my horse, Ginger and our 400 lb. black Angus bull, Woody and the black Angus cows. It was peaceful and quiet. We picked wild black berries, huckle berries, salmon berries and lots of wild flowers. Sometimes we had picnics by the little stream. Everything was so safe. The nearest neighbors lived a mile away. Sometimes the only person we ever saw was the mail lady when she delivered the mail in her own car. She was so nice and always stopped and visited with us. It was a very pleasant memorable time in my life.
