Grover disease: is a final healing possible???

Hi, from Italy. I've been fighting against Grover for two and a half years: I started with cortisone pills (which works as long as you can take it); then 3 months of Dupixent, with no result; then some months with a retinoid, Acitretin, an again no result. Now again a monoclonal antibody, Adtralza injections (Tralokinumab) and after four months ...no result. Doctors who are treating me say that I have to continue for some more months because Tralokinumab works very slowly. ??? Meanwhile I get some relief only using Clobesol cream. I'd like to know if some of you had similar treatments having a complete, (complete and final!) healing. Or a complete healing with different drugs. Grazie e ciao!

For me, no drugs required. Just apply tea tree & witch hazel cream stick to the affected area, 2 or 3 times a day, while keeping clean and sweat free as much as possible, and you get immediate improvement, almost gone in a week. If it comes back, just repeat the process and it is gone again in a few days.

@margus how do you apply the stick when it’s on your back? Does it come in any other form?I have enough trouble trying to put the Calcipotriene or any itch relief cream on, I use a spatula because it’s on my upper back.

Oh dear Jan, I haven't worked that one out, unless you can get someone to help you with it. My last bout of the disease was only on my front. I was buying another stick from Boots yesterday, and I noticed there were other products in the tea tree and witch hazel range, so maybe you could look to see if any of those may be useful to you?
