Shilajit for osteoporosis?

Even if a supplement has some benefits…generally it’s not enough for osteoporosis I’m finding out.

@kjhill I'm not familiar with Shilajit. Is it a supplement and if yes, where did you learn about it? How is supposed to be helpful for bone density.

I agree with with @osteopatient2026. With my own journey of osteoporosis, I did everything possible with diet, calcium supplements and weight lifting. It wasn't enough to bring my bone density up and so I added the medication (Evenity then Reclast) recommended by my endocrinologist. My bone density is now greatly improved.
