Does very low humidity make it harder to breathe with bronchiectasis?
I have a hard time breathing when I’m visiting relatives in Scottsdale, AZ which has very low humidity. I normally live in a high humidity area in the midwest. Does humidity affect breathing?

@whitemarsh Yes, I go to the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. It's only a 30-40 minute drive from my condo. I've had a great experience there. I initially went there because of persistent lung infections and a chest CT that alarmed my primary care doctor. When I went to see a pulmonologist at Mayo, he immediately identified the problem as bronchiectasis and started treatment. After some time, when he wasn't getting the results he expected, he had me tested for cystic fibrosis. When those tests were positive, I was put under the care of their cystic fibrosis team, and that team's care for me has been super.
I have trouble breathing in high temps, not because of my BE, but due to my autoimmune disease which is triggered by heat. Perhaps you have some autoimmune disease. Air quality and the enormous amount of wild fires everywhere now triggers my breathing issues.
