Does very low humidity make it harder to breathe with bronchiectasis?

I have a hard time breathing when I’m visiting relatives in Scottsdale, AZ which has very low humidity. I normally live in a high humidity area in the midwest. Does humidity affect breathing?

@patleon11254 Interesting - I just came in from 3+ hours in the garden in high humidity (dew point over 65) but only 85F - I feel wrung out. I do much better in 10% humidity, even at 95F. It's so humid even my young helpers were complaining, and spraying each other with the hose was no relief - it just made them muddy!
It's a 2 shower day!
