Vestibular Migraines: How was your treatment managed?

I have suffered from migraines since I was in Junior High and I am 77 now. The migraine 'causes' have changed over the years. Back in the 60's I went to the Diamond Headache Clinic. It was a very well known place for people with chronic headaches of all kinds. I saw that Endeavor Hospital bought them recently. Food was a trigger, certain beans, lima beans, kidney beans, too much sugar, then it was when I ovulated, then it was the weather, then I added stress. On July 16th I had an ablation done on my left upper neck. I was told it might help alleviate the migraines. I was getting 2 a day many times, 2 days in a row. I did not have a migraine until yesterday 8/1. Could have been the weather. It was mild with auras on the right side. I have been taking Metoprolol ER Succinate to block the migraines with little relief . Talking about switching to Verapamil. And for the pain and symptoms I take Sumatriptan which relieves the symptoms and pain quite quickly. You need to take at the earliest sign s you are getting a migraine for it to work well. Very good. I try to watch what I eat, avoid processed foods. Lack of sleep is my biggest enemy. Working on solving or improving that. I hope something here helps.

I have had VM for five months since a surgery. They are horrible. If I do not have head pain, I'm dizzy like walking on a trampoline.
