Has anyone been diagnosed with Middle Lobe Syndrome (collapse of lobe)

Has anyone ever been diagnosed with interval collapse of their right middle lobe? (Middle Lobe Syndrome) How did you "fix" it? Bronchoscopy or Lung Resection? Since having it show up on my last CT, I have had 8 rounds of antibiotics which is very unusual for me. Has anyone have it repair itself?

@sueinmn No, I am going back to my original Pulmonary Dr. He works for Henry Ford. I did go to Henry Ford once for a consult, but the Dr. told me putting a stent in my lung to hold the opening up would not work. He said I would probably cough it out. But if I were really bad with the breathing, they may try it, which at that time, I was not that bad.

I was diagnosed with right middle lobe syndrome, without collapse but lots of infection in 1995. I had it removed in January, 1996. It was then that I was told I had bronchiectasis and then 2 months later, MAC.
It's been an eventful 30 years, to say the least!
