@inquirer
Did not see the comment on mistletoe injections, is it on this thread or elsewhere?
I have read the mistletoe injection is preferred over an IV infusion as you can monitor your bodies response to the injection by the skin reaction and have a dose adjustment if necessary. Unfortunately for me the local Naturopathic Oncologist is not too trustworthy as he has been reprimanded for importing a rogue chemotherapeutic drug called Ukrain that has a shady history. I consulted with him before I was aware of his reprimand - which makes me leery of trusting anything he recommends, so unless I am willing to drive long distances Mistletoe is off the table for me. Wish the local oncologists would offer it.

1 Reaction@beebe what is that you are taking? I was diag with high grade stage 3 endometrial cancer
@cookercooker I dont know my kind except its high grade endo cancer stage 3 pole mutated
@tdfraze
Here is my list, let me know if you want all of the dosages. During treatment I did not take much beyond the turkey tail and broccoli extract to protect my digestive tract.
Digestion:
Ginger Root Powder for digestion/motility
Broccoli Seed extract 600mg sulphurophane digestion
Turkey Tail mushroom extract for digestion, immune function booster
Mixed Probiotics alternate with Akermansia which has been shown to be present in patients with better outcomes
Anti-oxidants:
Melatonin may inhibit cancer cell proliferation
Apigenin
Aspirin - baby, would like to do every day but do not tolerate it well
IP6+inositol - will add to regime when my stomach settles down
Vitamin C
Inflammation:
Black Cumin Seed Oil, TriquetraTQ4, for inflammation, thins blood, may help dampen neuropathy
Omega 3 Fatty Acids...Fish Oil or DHA for inflammation
Milk Thistle - 380mg phospholid protects liver, laxative effect, reduces blood sugar. Take it as the liver is a common spot for metasis to occur so trying to help it stay healthy.
Vitamins and Minerals:
Vitamin D, K2
Zinc, magnesium, calcium
Multi-vitamin, low dose formula, b12 not over 100% if RDA and no copper. Cancer loves copper and iron.
May discontinue:
Dr. Jay Chaplin has stated that anti-inflammatories can nullify the effect of Anti-oxidants. Anti-inflammatories dampen the immune system and anti-oxidants boost it (like T-cells that fight cancer). So it is a balancing act and I am not sure if it is really known how the supplements interact with each other, antagonists or complements? Look up his videos on Youtube for more information on supplements and decide for yourself. It is kind of a crap shoot since the research on supplements is so poor and everyone's cancer has different profiles.
Curcumin - A-1 Vitality Novasol, for inflammation, may induce apoptosis and inhibit angiogenesis.
Boswellia - for inflammation

My form of endometrial cancer has no good treatment options after the initial chemo infusion series so anything I can do to help prevent cancer cells from activating is worth a try. The idea is to stack anti-oxidants with exercise and sauna which are all immune boosters. One alone may not do enough, but together they just may. I also have a compromised digestive system and limited diet so need extra vitamins, minerals, probiotics, and especially ginger to keep my body functioning.

3 Reactions@beebe When I saw my Integrative Medicine physician in June she encouraged me with all that I am doing to prevent a recurrent or new cancer. She also told me that at my age (74) I am far more likely to have cardiovascular disease as this affects more of us in our 70's than cancer. She said that all that I'm doing supports not only cancer prevention but also my cardiovascular health. Of course, this does depend on the kind of cancer one has had but this was a sobering thought for me.
You are prioritizing your health and wellness with all that you.

Thank you so much for the positive feedback. I am so aware of things that alter my heart function. NO caffeine or chocolate for me, even fish oil causes heart palpitations. If I understand correctly heart palpitations are risker as we age as they can encourage clot formation. I talked with my integrative Doctor about baby aspirin and the risk of bleeding if you have a stroke(for those of us over age 65), . He said that one or two aspirin a week should be safe and that it stays in your blood for some 20 odd days. Baby aspirin has been shown to be effective against metasis but not sure that one or two a week would do much. Maybe a cumulative effect could occur when stacked with other things I do could. No one knows.
Meanwhile, as you say i will keep on prioritizing my health, wellness, and peace of mind:)
