@beebe When I saw my Integrative Medicine physician in June she encouraged me with all that I am doing to prevent a recurrent or new cancer. She also told me that at my age (74) I am far more likely to have cardiovascular disease as this affects more of us in our 70's than cancer. She said that all that I'm doing supports not only cancer prevention but also my cardiovascular health. Of course, this does depend on the kind of cancer one has had but this was a sobering thought for me.

You are prioritizing your health and wellness with all that you.

Thank you so much for the positive feedback. I am so aware of things that alter my heart function. NO caffeine or chocolate for me, even fish oil causes heart palpitations. If I understand correctly heart palpitations are risker as we age as they can encourage clot formation. I talked with my integrative Doctor about baby aspirin and the risk of bleeding if you have a stroke(for those of us over age 65), . He said that one or two aspirin a week should be safe and that it stays in your blood for some 20 odd days. Baby aspirin has been shown to be effective against metasis but not sure that one or two a week would do much. Maybe a cumulative effect could occur when stacked with other things I do could. No one knows.
Meanwhile, as you say i will keep on prioritizing my health, wellness, and peace of mind:)
