My form of endometrial cancer has no good treatment options after the initial chemo infusion series so anything I can do to help prevent cancer cells from activating is worth a try. The idea is to stack anti-oxidants with exercise and sauna which are all immune boosters. One alone may not do enough, but together they just may. I also have a compromised digestive system and limited diet so need extra vitamins, minerals, probiotics, and especially ginger to keep my body functioning.

@beebe When I saw my Integrative Medicine physician in June she encouraged me with all that I am doing to prevent a recurrent or new cancer. She also told me that at my age (74) I am far more likely to have cardiovascular disease as this affects more of us in our 70's than cancer. She said that all that I'm doing supports not only cancer prevention but also my cardiovascular health. Of course, this does depend on the kind of cancer one has had but this was a sobering thought for me.
