@gnana6 I don’t think that they have a cure yet, the research is going on but that’s about it, however there are a lot of people who claim that they have suffered from this for years and they found a cure, I’ve read and listened to many testimonials about a rare plant found in some obscure place that changed their lives, just more people looking to profit from this ailment. I’ve had tinnitus for many, many years and there was a time when the doctor didn’t even know what I was talking about, since I had covid it comes on more frequently, my noises are usually the same and very intense, sometimes similar to brain zaps, they can go on all day and night and last for several weeks. Thankfully I have some time off and I value those weeks.

I already had a dull ringing due to a very loud dog (he didn't bark a lot, but when he did you felt it like an explosion in your ears) and also a parrot who used to have some high, piercing whistles. It wasn't bad though. Now it's extremely annoying because it's high-pitched and loud. It's not constant though. It comes and goes. I got sick just 9 months ago. Hoping it will eventually clear up. How long have you had it?

@mountainmarge I've had probably 8 months. Didn't realize at the time I had covid. The day after the fu shot my husband and me got sick with a sore throat and cough. That was it. It lasted 2 weeks. During that time I lost my taste and smell(which happened in 2021 and lasted up to 3 years) I panicked so started the same routine of smelling and tasting certain spices and essential oils.Came back and did it a couple more days. After that is when this noise in my ears started. Different sounds some more irritating than others. Some loud some not. If you do research, so many say this helps and that helps and this causes it, bUT no cure. If there is no cure , how do the experts say that certain things cause it. It is VERY frustrating.
