Menopause support: Introduce yourself and connect

Posted by Kelly, Moderator @klp, Dec 15, 2025

Welcome to the menopause support group on Mayo Clinic Connect.

This is a welcoming, safe place for anyone going through the stages of menopause, including perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause. You’re invited to share your experiences, ask questions big or small, and offer encouragement to others walking a similar path.

Please take these steps to participate in the group:

  • Follow the group.
  • Browse the topics.
  • Use the group search to find answers to your questions.
  • Introduce yourself.

No matter where you are in your journey, you’re invited to join the conversation and connect with others.

Let’s chat. Why not start by introducing yourself? Everyone experiences menopause differently -- what's your experience been like?
Do you have a question to ask or a story to share?

Hi! My name is caringissharing. I am 49 years old. I had a radicle Hysterectomy bso 3 years ago. I was in perimenopause before My Hysterectomy. Now I am in surgical menopause. I am confused because I still have a little endometriosis on My bladder after the surgery. I was put on estradiol 1/2mg.
I did well but now I found out from others that being on HRT can make it grow. I am now on estroven. Can anyone please tell Me is it true it can and will estroven do this also?
Thanks for having Me!

Hi caringissharing. Estroven is not actually estrogen though, correct, so it may have an easier affect on your body?
Have you been taking it awhile and does it help with night sweats?
