Has anyone found a treatment that helps with peripheral neuropathy?
I suspect that everyone on this forum has been searching for a medication that helps their neuropathy and even though you no that all the internet claims are false we continue to waste hundreds of pounds. Desperation is a powerful force. Has any one been fortunate enough to find a genuine treatment. I just can’t believe that there are so many awful people who prey on our vulnerability and knowingly orchestrate such elaborate scams.

Hopefully, this is the last message. Did you purchase these independently or from this company?

I’m 48 and can barely walk, have bowel movements, lift my arms up tendering me unable to work. Starting to not be able to even wear shoes…..So I keep seeing all these posts of people over 80 working out 5 or more days a week. I do not understand. It makes me wander if I have something else at times as this has completely debilitated my life

1 Reaction@chandria40 I am a member of the Facebook group listed on their website. We used to maintain a document with links on Facebook and ordered each supplement individually either through Amazon for the free shipping or the manufacturer's website. No one liked the number of capsules we had to take each day. The person that started the group had some contacts in a local pharmaceutical manufacturer in Florida and tossed the idea around with them of combining the different supplements we were taking into fewer capsules. A few years later the new product was released to the group and we had the same supplements combined into fewer capsules which has helped by not having to keep track of when to order the individual supplements because some of them had different quantities in the bottle. The cost is about $6/day. They are now working on a new version that puts all of the supplements into a powdered drink mix in individual packets you mix with a glass or bottle of water twice a day.

Like you at 82 was diagnosed with sensory idiopathic neuropathy and all docs could do was prescribe gabapentin or Lyrica. I took Lyrica and had so much fatigue I could hardly walk so I said "no" I will put up with the pins and needles than be so tired and be in bed all day. I searched this website and found that alpha lipoic acid really helped and a professional grade of B complex I bought at the acupuncture. It is 80 to 90% better. I wrote a note to my primary care dr about what I did and posting here to help other people. I do not have diabetes but my symptoms were the same as if I did have it. I bought the brand Source Naturals that the store recommended as they take it too. It works better if you take it on an empty stomach for at least 30 minutes. I hope this helps you so you dont have to take those awful pills. Good luck. It takes a few weeks to work so dont get discouraged.

1 Reaction@chandria40 I use this same group of supplements. I have had good results for quite a long time. There are occasional incidents in my wrists and feet but they seem to settle each time. I find heat and humidity are usually the triggers.

1 ReactionTry Aloha Lipoic Acid if you haven’t yet. .. for nerve pain in your feet. … capsules 600 mg as directed. It has helped though I my feet have other issues besides nerve pain and shoes and socks are problematic .. I’ve found some fabric slippers with rubber soles that aren’t as binding to wear around the house. Hope this helps you.

1 ReactionThanks for getting back to me.
I am 83.5 with nil nerve or joint pain. But I have always eaten vitamin D
rich food and sunbathed a lot, so much so, that I have had skin cancer
removed. I learned that our older stomach had less acid. So less B12 is
extracted from food. Then most elders eat too little animal protein. B12 is
only in animal food.. B12 is made by soil bacteria utilizing the mineral
COBALT. The medical name for B12 is COBALAMIN. Wind blown soil coats grass.
Grazing animals get plenty B12 from grass coated with cobalamin. We eat
meat,so we get B12. Or should.
Too many elders eat mainly carbohydrates. They are cheap and convenient. Be
warned. ..
Alcohol reduces B12 absorbtion. B12 grows nerves insulation everywhere, in
our brain too.
Good luck.
