Has anyone found a treatment that helps with peripheral neuropathy?
I suspect that everyone on this forum has been searching for a medication that helps their neuropathy and even though you no that all the internet claims are false we continue to waste hundreds of pounds. Desperation is a powerful force. Has any one been fortunate enough to find a genuine treatment. I just can’t believe that there are so many awful people who prey on our vulnerability and knowingly orchestrate such elaborate scams.

Prior to 1932 liver was the only treatment available for pernicious anaemia. Mow it's regular injections of b12.
@geet69 In the past I've used Doctor's Best and Geronova brands but now it's included in the supplements I take - https://theprotocolworks.com/the-science-behind/.
I had an afternoon to spare so I reread notes on peripheral neuropathy treatments. I was shocked to find how little progress has been made. It’s the same old formulas still being churned out. I cannot believe we’re still being conned into spending 100’s of pounds on products we know doesn’t work.There must be thousands of super clever people reading this stuff and they know it’s absolutely garbage. Unfortunately I’m not clever enough to to work out the answers but I’d like to think I’d help my friends making the same mistakes over and over again. Come on lads we might beat this if we all helped.

2 ReactionsVitamin b12 deficiency is a cause of peripheral neuropathy. I'm assuming it's been discussed on here in the past? See my earlier post on this.
@bigjohnscho
This is what I was getting at in my post that this disease needs more advocacy. Its the same old treatments from the 90s - gabapentin and lyrica.
Well I guess there was one company with real scientists and research behind their drug - Winsantor but looks like no one had interest which I don’t get. I believe there was also a Korean company working on a drug at one point but that also folded.
@johnbishop
Has it helped?

1 Reaction@chandria40 I feel like it has slowed the progression a little but haven’t had any additional testing to prove it.
@johnbishop
Okay, how are you feeling. Has it impacted your day to day activities. More strength or capacity to do "normal " activities?
@chandria40
Is this a B12 supplement?
@chandria40 at 83 years old I feel fairly good but do have other conditions that give me daily aches and pains, just not the neuropathy. A lot less strength even though I try to exercise 4 or 5 days a week for 30 to 45 minutes along with daily work in the yard and around the house. I can say that my normal is close to what my other friends at the same age is with a few exceptions. Heavy objects are a problem for me along with balance. The neuropathy numbness and some tingling has stayed in my lower legs and feet but has not progressed much for the past 10 years so I consider that a good thing.
B12 is one of the neuropathy supplements I take for neuropathy. The complete list of supplement I take are in the Why the Protocol document I've shared before. Here's the link - https://cdn.prod-carehubs.net/n1/748e8fe697af5de8/uploads/2023/11/WHY-THE-PROTOCOL.pdf.
