I had an afternoon to spare so I reread notes on peripheral neuropathy treatments. I was shocked to find how little progress has been made. It’s the same old formulas still being churned out. I cannot believe we’re still being conned into spending 100’s of pounds on products we know doesn’t work. There must be thousands of super clever people reading this stuff and they know it’s absolutely garbage. Unfortunately I’m not clever enough to to work out the answers but I’d like to think I’d help my friends making the same mistakes over and over again. Come on lads we might beat this if we all helped.

This is what I was getting at in my post that this disease needs more advocacy. Its the same old treatments from the 90s - gabapentin and lyrica.

Well I guess there was one company with real scientists and research behind their drug - Winsantor but looks like no one had interest which I don’t get. I believe there was also a Korean company working on a drug at one point but that also folded.
