Does anyone have any experience with MEIBO (PF) drops for dry eyes?

I've tried many suggestions from several ophthalmologists for my dry eyes, which started after Cataract surgery.
My current ophthalmologist at Mayo Clinic has suggested Meibo drops. She sent the Rx to BlinkRX, and with my insurance, it's $627!

I have used Restasis for years twice a dayfor my dry eyes. Had tried so many other things. Even went through the plugs in my tear ducts. This worked miracles. It is not cheap but if you have a good prescription plan, most will be covered.

I have used Miebo for a couple of years and haven’t had a lot of success with it.

My doctor prescribed it, it works great for my dry eye. I have also been considering the procedure that takes your blood and inserts in your tear duct.

@triciabliler I am probably an outlier; however, restasis caused an extreme spike in my blood pressure.

My eye doctor recommended Miebo drops. Shortly after starting then I experienced wild heart arrhythmia. Spent one night in intense cardiac care. Was this coincidental? Wiii never know. But I stopped. A rare side effect mentions heart issues but doesn't state the nature of the heart issues.

They seemed to make my eyes feel more dry. I have recently subscribed to Tryptyre Rx drops which utilize a different mechanism for helping MGD dryness. I use them 2xday and a gel drop at night, sometimes an OTC drop during the day. I know Medicare covers part through BlinkXbut not sure what my cost will be when I use up my first free trial. I’ve also tried Restasis and Vevye in the past.

I was on Miebo for 2 months at a cost of $85, the third refill was for
$811 - I passed. Although I did like the way it made my eyes feel.

They did not help me. Currently using Vevye and blood serum drops. Doing better.

@browndognotnow -I had the same reaction. Spike in blood pressure. I have had success with miebo. My dr also put me on a fish old (FOCUS) for dry eye health. It was developed by a group of ophthalmologists. I have been taking this for several years. I use to buy from dr now order direct (around $43 per month).
