Jak2 positive, biopsy next: Does it mean I have blood cancer?
Hi, I've been told I'm jak2 positive. I'm due to have a bone marrow biopsy in a day or two. My question is, if it comes back normal does it still mean I have some kind of blood cancer?

@tree7737 JAK 2v617F is an indicator for myelofibrosis, which is my diagnosis - I also had years of increasing platelet count prior to my diagnosis.

@tree7737
I am headed to Mayo next week for a stem cell transplant. I begin testing midweek and am supposed to have my transplant on July 8th! The beginning to a healthy future.
