I had one injection of Prolia. I am getting side effects from it. How do I flush the Prolia out of my system?

@suzlaidler good fortune and health! I had to quit Prolia after two injections but some people have found it useful. May you are one of them! It does take courage! I think every needs lots more information early in our lives especially since many of us live long lives! I ate well and was active but my body did not respond to it. I winder if there arent ways to help adolescents snd thereafter! Keep yourself infirmed and do nit belueve everything you are told. Do your homework. Inthink we need local support groups! It is hard to be alone on something so sognificant! Best to you!

@jimiwho what do you mean you had to stop after two shots? Was there a problem or side effect that made you stop or was that the plan all along that you just took two and then stopped?
Did you not gain any benefit from those two shots in terms of your T scores and Bone density I’d be very interested to hear more details thank you

@suzlaidler so you were advised to just take the two shots and then stop otherwise you’d have to be on it forever? That’s what my doctor told me just last week. I’m still thinking it over. I’d be interested in any information you have about two shots and then done.

I know someone who was on Prolia for ten years. She just stopped the Prolia and is taking reclast to stop the rebound effect.

@gravity3 for me the class will never be an option because of my kidney doctor saying it’s too much stress for my kidney so the only option I have is Prolia two shots and done. I’m thinking that seems strange to me
