Has anyone in this community been treated for MAC under Dr. Zha @ UCSF

I am so happy to finally be under the care of a well-regarded expert in BE-NTM, Dr. Shoshana Zha. Really liked her at our first consult last week, and I would love to hear from others who have her as a pulmonologist and have also gone through NTM treatment with her so I have some idea of what to expect.
She has scheduled meetings for me with her nurse practitioner, a pharmacist, a dietician, and the respiratory therapist. However, my next appointment with Dr. Zha is in January, or 7 months after my June 2nd appointment. She said her nurse practitioner will read all the messages I send and that anything complex will be immediately referred to her. What has it been like for others?
I am just at the beginning now of my journey with her and hopeful about how all of it will hang together, but because my MAC is pretty advanced, with a major hemoptysis in my past, and frequent small and not so small hemoptysis occurrences in the past three years—and I also had a stroke in January most probably due to a very high value for Lipoprotein (a), I am feeling some trepidation. Thanks in advance for any insight you can offer.

I just looked up Lipoprotein (a).
Who prescribed it and why?
Was it considered a TIA, Transient Ischemic Attack, or a full blown stroke. How frightening.
Is all working for you, speech, limbs, thoughts, etc.
Was it during the time you were trying to figure out about the law suit, Medicare insurances, new doctor etc. That all weighed heavily on you I would suspect and can affect us in so many aspects or wake up something that was already there and waiting to show it's ugly face.??????
I know you have eliminated some things to help yourself slow down, to help with time management...for health reasons etc. That's a good thing!!!
As we learn with passing time and life events we become more aware of what has changed ......including what we use to be able to do and what 'all' changes with time leaving us with the understanding we no longer can do all that we use to do and possibly pushed ourselves to do.
Hoping you continue to get all the answers needed and that you continue to learn, with all of us, what is best for our personal health and well being.
P.S. I was just recently was referred to a 'fantastic' local speech therapist by my new local OU Medical Center pulmonologist (Department Head) that is helping me with breathing exercises, tongue exercises etc. to strengthen much of what we need to strengthen for help with BE.

I have been seeing Dr. Zha for just over a year. She has put together a first rate team. She gives clear explanations, answers all questions. She genuinely cares about her patients.
When I got to UCSF I had BE with MAC, two cavities. She started me on the big three plus Aricayce. The team has answered all questions quickly, responded well when I've had setbacks. You are in good hands!

Yes, I also am under the care of Dr. Zha and her nurse practitioner Nicole Narain. They are both exceptional and I feel like I'm in good hands.
