My question is I'll be paying this out of pocket and wonder what's the cost of liver transplant and after care thanks in advance. Hope ya'll have a great day

I’m sorry to hear that you need a transplant and you are paying for it with no insurance? Well my transplant 3 years ago was close to 2 million dollars and I had really good insurance all I owe now is $2000 for my deductible, keep in mind I was a very extreme case IVU for 7 months and I was considered near death, I hope you aren’t as extreme but it isn’t a cheap operation plus the aftercare is permanent

I’m doing very well 3 plus years post op first 2 1/2 were pretty rough because I herniated my surgical scar which required another $160,000 surgery repair with mesh over my whole stomach, now I swim a mile a day and retired from work, I hope yours goes well, this is the group if you have any questions or input from other patients
