Hi, I get some crazy spasms and toe curling. Not sure if they're cramps or what they are but one thing that helps me sometimes but not always is spelling the alphabet with my big toe on the ground. Physically drawing the letters with my big toe. By the time I get to letter G it usually gets a little better. Seems weird but I am weird medically hahaha. Hope this helps someone! Best of luck with the cramps.

That is a long time!!! to have severe cramping. Mine only lasts 5-15 minutes and if I catch them as soon as I feel one coming, I can walk them off. But it takes a lot out of me. I can only imagine what you are enduring. If you know what is causing them, perhaps your dr. can help. I’ve had an EMG and MRI. Results are: evidence of chronic appearing nerve root injury coming from both the neck and low back, Cramps and symptoms are related to "radiculopathy"- which is a term for spine nerve root injury. I’ve been given exercises, recommended tonic water, magnesium, electrolytes…next stop is Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) physician.
Bless your heart, I feel for you.

So sorry for your pain- I so understand- I use electrolytes- in my water- it helps for awhile- then bam- the cramps come to my body like an explosion- from my neck - ribs- stomach- lower legs- ankles - toes- much suffering- can you tell me what you do for relief?

I recommended a calf sleeve from Incrediwear. I just recently bought one after my PM&R doctor recommended it and it has done wonders for me. Incrediwear is quite different from anything else on the market because it does not use compression at all in order to work, so it does NOT need to be tight. Since it is not a compression garment, Incrediwear should just rest comfortably on the skin like a sock. As long as it's not compressive, it can safely be worn 24/7, and the more it is worn, the more effective it will be. Incrediwear actually recommend that people sleep in the product.

I’ve recommended this on this forum before: Pickle Juice. My husband had severe nighttime leg cramps for years. Once he tried the Juice, he kept one by the bed and it always helped. I’ve had some crampy leg pain at night since my THR in July. Sure enough, the pickle juice has helped me. You can get individual Pickle Juice shots (u drink it not inject it 😊) from Amazon. Good luck!

Take magnesium glycinate twice a day regularly . It mostly helps . I had most debilitating experience with night cramps and this helped tremendously.
