I apologize for the mistake with the link to 'Eliminate Nerve Pain Naturally'. Here is the correct one...
https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/complementary-medicine/200811/eliminate-nerve-pain-naturally
@qball2019, thank you so much for posting the link from “ Psychology Today”. It was very thorough and informative and helpful. I have long suspected a thyroid connection to my SFN but my Dr. has always insisted that my numbers were within “normal-low”range even though I have had many symptoms of low thyroid for 20 + yrs. When this pandemic has finally run its course I will have to pursue this subject once again with my internist. Helen
@qball2019 Thank you soooo much for the information!!! Will get on with some reading on all you posted. Was blessed today with my very first visit (virtually) with my new OD, GP...he’s a concierge doctor rather than the group practices I’ve been seeing for generations. Perfect timing with your posting as he will be treating “all” of me. He’s already strategizing about things that have already been tried with me and will work till we get to the end of what could possibly be wrong then fix if at all possible. I have renewed hope!! Will post if/when I learn anything that could contribute to helping other sufferers here.
Anyone have experience with Licorich and neuropatay pain?
Hello @mironch -- I see that you have been a member for awhile but only recently made a post. I would like to welcome you to Mayo Clinic Connect. There is another discussion on Connect that you may find helpful if you are looking for natural ways to eliminate neuropathy pain.

I have heard of licorice being used for different ailments but not for neuropathy pain. Here is some information I found that may help answer your questions.
Medical News Today - What are the benefits of licorice root? -- https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/323761
@mironch have you been diagnosed with a form of neuropathy?
Hi Rachel @rwinney -- Thanks for the private message. The new 525 protocol of supplements was named for 5 capsules in the morning, 2 at noon, 5 in the evening. The closed Facebook Group Solutions to Peripheral Neuropathy Pain & Discomfort also has a website - https://solutions2pnpd.com/ with links to order the new 525 protocol as well as the original protocol individual products from Amazon.com. It also has an Instructions button/link to a PDF file with how to take the supplements and a comparison of the 525 vs the original. I've attached a flyer with Bob Diamond's story and how the protocol came about. The Solutions to Peripheral Neuropathy Pain & Discomfort Facebook group is now approaching 10,000 members and you can find many success stories by searching the group using #theprotocol works.
Happy Tuesday!
John
PROTOCOL FLYER (PROTOCOL-FLYER.pdf)
@johnbishop Thanks a bunch John!
Thanks for the info, John.
I'm interested in the Protocol. In his flyer, he states that "the Protocol has brought relief to hundreds of people".
I imagine that some of the participants in this forum are also among the hundreds of people who have tried the Protocol.
However, I don't recall many people commenting on their use of the protocol here (I don't participate in FaceBook). This seems odd, especially if, in fact, the Protocol is so successful.
I'd like to hear comments from people who have tried it, successfully or not.
Perhaps that should be a new, separate topic.
Jeff
Great suggestion Jeff as I’ve also wondered why no one on this forum has mentioned it. I don’t participate in Facebook either.
@jeffrapp I've used this Protocol since last September and understand your concern. I felt the same way about it and am not completely sold on it taking all my troubles away. It has not yet done so yet, I also have not followed it to the tee which will always leave me wondering. I can attest to there being benefits from many of the supplements. I researched each one to understand their potential benefit. Nothing would be harmful to me. My Neurologist recommended about 4 of the items for neuropathy. I'm on the fence as I believe its contributioning in a positive way to my neuropathy and overall well being but, the jury is out on whether it will resolve all my issues like some testimonials declare. Either way, I will continue to use it as a blue print.
