Has anyone found a treatment that helps with peripheral neuropathy?
I suspect that everyone on this forum has been searching for a medication that helps their neuropathy and even though you no that all the internet claims are false we continue to waste hundreds of pounds. Desperation is a powerful force. Has any one been fortunate enough to find a genuine treatment. I just can’t believe that there are so many awful people who prey on our vulnerability and knowingly orchestrate such elaborate scams.

Update: I finally called CLK Bank as listed on my credit card bill. They say they are arranging a rebate for me. Time will tell if it happens.
@joeorsini
After being in the Mayo system for a few days I see an important issue:
DO YOU HAVE PAIN WITH YOUR PN?
Because many of the "treatments" seem to address the pain only.
Are there really 2 types (or more) of PN, and do they require different cures?
After almost 30 years of having PN I am on the verge of complete loss of
mobility.

4 Reactions@mikead63 You are so right on the money . I see Chiropractor clinics promoting PN reversals . I put my own experience with chiro clinics and PN cures on the web advertisement. The clinics hate thatbi do that . I keep people from spending money like I did . I use a thc salve for my feet. It really helps with the pain. I also use foot soaks with thc . I get it all at Maryjanesmedicinals.com . I do not own or get money from this company . They have helped me .

1 Reaction@wascaly there is no cure unfortunately. All that salt will do is perhaps, raise your blood pressure.
Relief from the pain for me, comes by taking the supplement, ALA. Alpha-Lipoic Acid. It was recommended to me by my neurologist.
I take 600mg twice a day.
@joeorsini it is because there is NO CURE.
I take ALA 600MG for pain.
@SusanEllen66 it didn’t help me - I took it for several years - not eating sugar or carbs helps me more than anything

2 Reactions@dclark8 I find that soaking feet in cold water gives me relief for most of the day. Easily for a couple of hours it doesn't feel like I have neuropathy. I take extra ice and will drop few pieces in the water to keep it cool. Be careful though. It's very easy to get water too cold and freeze feet and not feel it. Hope it works for you too.

Cold water would make things worse for me.
My feet get cold, and turn blue in the summer!
