Breather

Posted by sheila7a @sheila7a, 22 hours ago

Hello.
I'm definitely a night person having worked 2nd or 3rd shift many years. The problem is I'm also an early bird.
When I'm in bed by 10 pm that's a win.
Here I sit reading about the Breather.
Very interesting.
After reading I come to my favorite place for information.
Has anyone tried the Breather?
Thanks to all of you.
Does anyone else get busy at night?
The only thing I don't do now is vacuum at night.
Recently moved out of home into Senior apartments so now I have neighbors.

Yes I use it daily and I really think it has strengthened my lungs. I have my own routine where I use it for 10 - 20 breaths in the morning and the same in the evening. Takes too long if you use it the way the instructions say to and I get the same results. It is very effective!

This is neither an endorsement nor a recommendation, but curiosity led me to look this up.
For those who may be unfamiliar with "The Breather" you can read about it here:

I also confirmed that you can sterilize it in 70% alcohol, but DO NOT boil.

For those of you using the device, how do you clean and sterilize yours?

I soak mine in soapy water and once per week in bleach water. Don’t put in a bottle sterilizer like me or it will warp. Also this is really for strengthening your lungs/breathing but in doing so it makes it easier along with my aerobika and nebulizer to do airway clearance. My pulmonary doctor said my lungs are very strong for having Bronchiectasis and contributes it in part to my routine. Plus it is exercising your lungs so it also helps oxygen.
