Burning nerve pain that goes from my vagina, buttocks, and down leg
I have a constant pain in my buttocks. It is painful to sit, it feels like i am sitting on a hard lump, or an object is in my anus. The pain goes from there to the perineum and genital region. I have general numbness, coldness and loss of sensation in my leg, feet, and buttocks.
The burning and pain is worse in the evening and is aggravated by lifting anything. Could this be caused by my pudendal nerve?

This may be solely neurological, or it might have something to do with connective tissue. The pelvis isn't a nicely molded and solid piece of bone. It comprises several bones, each held up tight to its neighbours via connective tissue, ligaments chiefly. And there are nerves nearby. Sometimes movement can interfere with these items and cause neural pain.

The pain is 24/7. Everything that I do aggravates my pelvic region. Just socks and clothes touching my leg increases the pain. On April 1st (I know, stupid day to have it) I had another laminectomy to reduce the compression around L3, L4, and partial L2. So far I have not had any relief. Everything started 3 years ago. Somehow I contracted a staph infection and had to have a laminectomy on my spinal column in the T3 region to remove the abscess. The numbness started in my leg two days before the surgery and has just got steadily worse.

1 ReactionHave you seen a doctor especially the surgeon from your prior surgery? Also an MRI may be what you need too. Depending on what your tests show maybe a neurologists?
Hi
I have similar problem also. I injured my right leg sitting and straining on toilet almost a year ago. Within a few days i started feeling numbness and tingling in my leg all down to my foot. Dr swears it’s sciatica so I did 8 weeks pt, acupuncture, massage therapy, saw gyno because i thought i could hand uterine prolapse but nope im good! I’ve done 6 weeks pelvic floor therapy. I had nerve conduction test! I’ve had 2 ct scans , 2 mris, X-rays of pelvis, spine and leg and labs and allll comes back normal! I’ve seen soo many specialists and still haven’t gotten any better. I feel pinching in both buttocks, can’t sit for more than 10-15 min or stand to long I’ll feel tingling and both my feet burn! Laying down flat is the only thing that gives me relief. I feel lots of pressure in the whole pelvic area. I’ve asked for an mri or ultrasound standing up or sitting and they won’t do it! I’ve told all the drs that they’re has to be some type of compression because it bothers me i soon as i stand or sit! All they are quick to do is give me medication, which I don’t take any because it doesn’t really do much. I’m out of ideas on what to do or who to see.
