Time passing way too fast

Does anyone else feel like time is passing way too fast as we get older?
It used to be bad enough, but now it's going faster than the speed of light.

I don't have kids/grandkids, but an animal refuge for 16 years and I too have the same kind of rooster! His name is Batman and he is always loosing his only hen, Robin. When I see him alone, I ask him, where's his Robin, and he looks around in panic, like he has amnesia or something. 🤭

@msmarymac This made me chuckle. I could just see Batman in my mind's eye. 🙂

Yes, it does seem that way. But the upside is that I now appreciate each and every day so much! The simple things in life like meeting a friend for coffee of having dinner with family make me so happy. I’m trying to do something each day that brings me joy. I’m still looking forward to many years ahead, but they are aren’t guaranteed..

Absolutely. I hate it. Remember in school or bored during summer break, or a boring job and the clock moved SLOWLY? But not after retirement. It's morning, then dinner time.
My Mom told me that as you age, the time flies so fast and I thought she was nuts. My Aunt used to say "I don't know how I found time to WORK"!

So much to do; so little time.

Time keeps on slippin' slippin' slippin' into the future.

@shmerdloff -- As I'm sure you'll agree, that's why we have to fly like eagles!

Yes! Absolutely! My dad used to tell us…..”The older you get, the more quickly time passes”. Now that I am 76, I identify with what he said.

So many songs about all this -- if only I had time -- but to name a few:
Slip Slidin' Away (Paul Simon)
If I Could Turn Back Time (Cher)
Can you name more???
