Has anyone with CFS or PEM had experience with low dose Abilify

I am now on Low Dose Naltrexone, started at .5 mg. Now at 3.5 mg. No effect yet. Read about Low Dose Abilify and would like to hear of others experiences and any side effects.

I have been taking the generic version of low dose Abilify
for over a year now. I had started crying pretty much all the time
time. Not due to depression….just crying and hard to control it.
It was exhausting. After hearing about low dose Abilify from a
friend taking it at the recommendation of the Stanford Long Covid
Clinic, I decided it was worth a try. For me it worked like a charm!
It has to do with Dopamine receptors in the brain being damaged by
the spike protein (as I understand it). It did not help with fatigue or
PEM. I take 1 mg every day or 2mg every other day. But every body is
different. Good luck!

Glad it helped with crying issue. Sorry not with CFS/PEM, my only issue.

I have LC/CFS and take 0.9mg/day of Abilify. I think it has helped me tremendously with reducing fatigue, PEM, brain fog, photophobia and other symptoms. But it is hard to know for sure as I am taking Naltrexone at the same time. I think I had more or less settled my Naltrexone dose when I started Abilify. I continue to improve tremendously - about 75% symptom reduction. Both meds are prescribed by the LC/CFS clinic at Stanford.

How long were you on what you called your “settled “ dose of LDN before starting Abilify? And what was that “settled “ dose of LDN? I’m glad you are markedly improved. Any side effects of either drug or 2 combined?

@carlosmayo
Thank you so much for those details on your experience with LDN and then adding Low Dose Abilify. Any side effects when you added Abilify?
