Advice for difficulty achieving ejaculation/orgasm

Posted by scien123 @scien123, Mar 8 10:04am

Recovering from cpps, enlarged prostate taking tamsulosin and finasteride. Experience intense pressure/pain every 3-4 days which is only relieved by achieving orgasm. Lately very difficult to do and is painful. Any suggestions?

I had my prostatectomy in October 2025. Glad to be alive but this is a lot to adjust.

I do not. My wife has not done anything sexually for over 14 yrs now. Lots of solo masturbation for me.

@davem71 Interesting subject for all. Yes, solo here also to climax until I cum during orgasm. Sometimes with a male friend on SD cam so we can view, also share methods and experiences. It helps greatly.

This may seem an odd question but do any of you have partners that participate in any way with your masturbation and are they open to it. (Now that we are a bit older..late 60's)

@80cobber Absolutely! She started off very shy about that, but after patience and talking about it, voyeurism watching each other has become a much enjoyed aspect of our intimacy.

My wife will watch when she is in the room and occasionally help me by talking to me erotically. She also likes to watch me ejaculate and see my semen come out!

@olderandwiser Throw some whispered fantasies into the mix and it’ll raise the temperature quickly. We’re in our 60s and feel a freedom we’ve never felt until now.

Scien123, what is your age. Also, are you taking any antidepressants that have sexual side effects, which typically is referring to delayed ejaculation. It didn't help me with my delayed ejaculation, but a sexual medicine expert 10 years ago suggested an expensive penile vibrator called a Viberect. You should consult a sexual medicine expert before buying one since it costs hundreds of dollars. The manufacturer's literature suggested that the device was even successful in getting men with spinal cord injuries to ejaculate. Instructions call for it to be applied to the rim of the glans on the top of the penis and below the glans on the bottom side. I think what the instructions are trying to get across is that on the bottom side the pad should be against the sensitive frenulum, or if you are circumcised as I am, what remains of your frenulum. Before you buy one, you should try using a cheap vibrator applied to the frenulum or frenulum remnant. Good luck.

A very inexpensive alternative is an old ultrasonic toothbrush. Just don't use the side with the bristles!!
I can cum in seconds with it applied to the frenulum !!!!

I accidentally discovered that when I use a Tims unit to stimulate my pelvic floor muscle there is a nice extra benefit! I was told to place one pad under by testicles and the second pad on the shaft of my penis to stimulate my pelvic floor with a low vole electrical charge. When I did after abou 5 minutes of my 20 minute procedure I had an orgasm! Since I had a prostatectomy I don’t shoot semen but the orgasms fells the same as before my surgery!

A TENS unit was one of the things that I tried unsuccessfully for my delayed or non-existent orgasm. There were electrodes on straps that I fastened high and low on the shaft of my penis, but shaft wasn't very long and never really got the pulsing low volt electrical charge. I think I tried under the testicles with one but never succeeded. I guess it was a case of user error. Glad to hear it works for you.
