Tonmya is a game changer for me!

Just got an RX for the new drug, Tonmya. It is amazing. My sleep has completely changed now. Used to have chronic insomnia. I would take arthritis strength tylenol, 300 mg gaba, 8 mg LDN, 10 mg THC and sometimes even .5 alpraz to go to sleep and I would still not get to sleep for 3 hours. I would frequently wake up around 3! Now I am sleeping within an hour and sleeping until 7 or 8 a.m.! See if you can get an RX for it. I don't know if this is going to last but it is great.

@jeannesf1 Full spectrum cannabis with THC. I usually feel like anything over 10 mg during the day is too much. I just use 10 at bedtime and only during the day when needed. I use powdered THC or tincture on the tongue. If you felt no effect, use a bit more and titrate up.

@beejenigma She tried that just 2 or 3 times and didn't see any relief. However.....she is a retired RN, old school, born, raised and lived her whole life in rural midwest farm life, and her views of cannabis is that it it a bridging drug to other more addicting drugs. I've tried to explain that most of the medical cannabis has the addicting part removed.

I wanted to try it but currently cost $950. I’m on Medicare. So will probably just wait to see if it gets cheaper

@ecmoandrrt Have you checked into LDN, low-dose naltrexone? It helped me very much.

@leoandbear Are you referring to Tonmya? It's sad that medicine is so expensive in our country.

I've mentioned before how LDN low-dose naltrexone helped me. However, it's not covered by insurance so I pay $115 for a 3 month supply. Worth every penny to me though.

Hello. Does the $115. Include Doctor fee? I pay $20/month for doctor (membership fee for minimal 6 months visits) and $60. For 1 and half month of LDN. This is right now because I’m temporarily trying the 6mg, so taking 4.5mg pill plus 1/2 to equal 6mg. Will be getting 6mg pills after this if I decide to stay on the 6mg. Just wondering what the average cost is for LDN. My insurance doesn’t cover the doctor and doesn’t have doctors that will prescribe it.

@jeannesf1 No, the $115 is the cost from the pharmacy for the LDN pills. Are you sure no doctors in your health network will prescribe it? I got my prescription from a pain clinic that was in my network. I have since learned my PCP also prescribes it.

My fibromyalgia symptoms were so debilitating, I would have been willing to pay out of pocket to see a doctor who would prescribe it for me. If you can locate a compounding pharmacy in your area, maybe they can help you find a doctor who prescribes it. Taking LDN totally changed my life back to normal before fibro. I have read, however, that not everyone responds to it as well as I have.

@daisy17 yes, you’ve been very helpful. Thank you. Great idea. I need to try harder to get it here. I’m in California and the pharmacy is in Texas. LDN has been helpful to me too. Your encouragement is greatly appreciated.
