FALLING ASLEEP OUT OF NO WHERE

my son will come home from work, sit down and in minutes he is sleeping and snoring. he goes in his room and sits down watcing tv, boom he is sleeping and snooring.
what could cause this?

Needs to see his pcp and also a sleep specialist. There are multiple issues that could cause this He needs to see someone.
