Has anyone experienced internal vibrations?

I started having the only way I can explain it is internal vibrations. I've had them for 3 months now, I went to t hihe ER and they told me it was anxiety. A doctor diagnosed me at a clinic as having Lyme disease I've started a 21-day prescription of Doxycycline I'm on day 7. I went to a psychiatrist a week ago to get something because of my nerves are just over the brink. He prescribed me Gabapentin and Valium I've only been on them a few days.
Has anyone experienced these internal vibrations?I have them almost 24/7 chest neck stomach from the hips down. I have more lab tests that should be in today, but the doctor's office said that they would not call unless there was some abnormality in the lab work.

I was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease in September 2025. I've had vibrations in both feet that feel like the floor is vibrating, both with shoes on or barefooted.

Yes, I also have internal vibrations that run from my chin to my knees. It wakes me every morning around 4:00 AM and is intense vibrations/electric current/cell phone type buzzing all over - my arms, abdomen, hips, pelvis, chin, shoulders, thighs. I've had it since December 2025. I've had two c-spine MRIs, a brain MRI and an EMG. I've seen a Spine doctor, two neurologists and my General Practitioner. They say they can't 'see' anything wrong with me. My recent recommendation was to take Alpha Lipoid Acid supplements and come back in 3 months! My GP just prescribed Pregabalin. I am anxious to see if it helps. It's very annoying - especially not knowing what it is, what caused it and how to get rid of it. Anyone else find a cure? Thanks for sharing

Yes, I get them. I describe it as my central channel vibrating. PT said its esophageal spasms, but I get those too, and this is more my whole torso, deeper, and truly like vibrartions, not spasms. I wake up with it early morning. My positive feedback for you is that I have had it for years and while annoying and freaky, it doesn't seem to be harmful. Gabapentin and muscle relaxer did nothing.

@cjd72 Thank you! I've been on Pregabatin for a few days and so far the symptoms seem worse. I also tried muscle relaxer with no benefit. I'm sorry you've had it for years and that it doesn't appear to be harmful. My concern is that it's a signal that something is 'broken' somewhere and I may be aggravating it. Thanks for your information. Maybe this is where the song came from ... "good, good, good vibrations."

@cjd72
Yeah, I’ve been going through some weird neurological problems and some of them were just random vibrating and thrumming throughout certain parts
No rhyme or reason to timing or location

Yes, I get internal vibrations. Both the Neurologist and NP have no idea what it is from. I have SFN as well. Assuming it is related to the SFN. I wish I could find treatment for this. Nothing helps so far.

Those experiencing internal vibrations - did any of you experience BEFORE Covid or Covid vaccines? Could that be a connection?

I’ve been told and I believe it that it’s just a dysregulated autonomic nervous system. It’s as long as you let your brain know that there’s nothing dangerous about this. You might be able to create enough feelings of safety to let be. Mine goes away at times. It is the most when I’m in bed and there’s nothing else to do.
