@tjphillipp Ipratropium bromide and Albuterol sulfate.
So far so good. I am 3 weeks out of being hospitalized for a week after an episode of not being able to breath and I thought I was going die. Rescue squad came just in time.
Exacerbated by pneumonia. I was diagnosed COPD a few years ago but never experienced this before. Scary is correct!!!
@tjphillipp I use Ohtuyare in my nubulizer 2 times a day.
@linda86 I use ohtuyare in my nebulizer 2 times a day.
@linda86
I use both because they do different things according to my pulmonologist. Thanks.
@linda86
Also the ipatropium/ albuteral is called Duoneb and there is a generic that I use. Duoneb is like $800 a month. The generic I get for around $12 for 120 vials.

1 ReactionIf you’ve ever been diagnosed with chronic bronchitis or emphysema, only to hear from others that it’s actually chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), you might feel confused. What’s important to know is that both conditions fall under the umbrella term COPD.
@sisterk I have severe Copd and have dealt with it for about three years. I had an inguinal hernia surgery during that time. Just make sure to notify the surgeon and the anesthesiologist so they can take appropriate precautions. For the Copd, stay as active as possible and follow doctor recommendations. Try not to worry as that doesn’t help.

2 ReactionsI was diagnosed a couple of years ago. My last visit October 25 stated I was in stage 4. I’ve been able to walk until I was admitted to the hospital three weeks ago for an exacerbation. I’m trying to get back to being active to try and improve my lungs. It just get frustrating.

Hi, I am Margaret.
I have COPD for over 20 tears, U an biw 96 yrs old wi th arthritis that comes and goes. But my question now is if I am using a concentrator, Tr elegy and the puffer Albuterol i use the concentrator hen I get up in the morning until after breakfast, then T relegy. I monior my oxygen level and if it goes below 93 I use the Albuterol or the concentrator. Sometimes these two things overlap and I wonder if it t possible to get too much ox y gen to my lungs. I am not an active person and my exercise is with a walker around the house.
