Pulmonary center at Emory University

We are moving to an area near Atlanta and would like to make an appointment with a Pulmonary Research/Treatment Center that I believe is at Emory? Does anyone have information or can help me get information on this? Thanks in advance.

I can highly recommend Dr. Colin Swenson at Emory Hospital NTM-Pulmonary Department. I began seeing him in the Fall of 2019. He is amazing!!! I used him for about 2 1/2 years. As Emory was a 3 1/2 hr. drive from us I had him do a referral and now go to the NTM Clinic in Birmingham, AL , Kirkland Clinic which is about 90 miles away. As my phone numbers, addresses are several years old I won't list them but it will be easy to do a computer search for that information. Blessings.

@fdixon63 Thanks so much! I found him on the website and will be scheduling an appointment as we get closer to moving! I'll be so grateful to find a pulmonologist near us.

@cdward1028 I have one general suggestion. Sometimes these clinic docs are scheduled months in advance for a new patient. I’d suggest calling to find out doc’s status soon rather than waiting. Penn had an 8 month wait and I ended up grabbing a cancelled Mayo appt to see a specialist until I could get into Penn’s doc.

@pacathy That's great advice. When I first called for an appt. it was going to be 5-6 months but got lucky due to a cancellation. If she gets the appt scheduled before her move she can reschedule it. Prayerfully the appointment Gods will be looking out for her.

I have been a patient of Dr. Colin Swenson at the Emory BE clinic for over 5 years. He has seen through some tough times. Thanks to him, I am now on Brinsupri at 25 mg, and my sputum is clear and reduced in volume, and my coughing has reduced in frequency per day. I have improved significantly. under the care of Emory and Dr. Swenson.
