Anyone have experience with treatments for urge Incontinence?
Does anyone have experience using Mirabegron for urinary urge incontinence? I'm considering it for a long-term issue, but only if it doesn't cause or worsen cognitive issues.

@kandypatel I’ve been on Gemtessa for about 2 years, one every other day. I still leak during the day and have an occasional gush when I stand up if I wait too long when I get an urge. I. wear Poise overnight pads during the day but nights are very little problem. Only get up about once during the night. Gemtessa is also expensive. Poise really sucks it up. 🥹. Sheila

I recently found the Mayo Clinic bladder friendly diet on their website. They have a list of foods which irritate the bladder causing frequent and urgent runs to the bathroom. I've been on the diet for two almost three months now. The diet has helped me tremendously. I only consume food which are bladder friendly. I didn't want to take a pill for my condition. The bladder friendly diet is working for me...Thanks to Mayo Clinic.

Could you share the Mayo diet please.

Hello. I hope this information will help. First of all my Urology specialist and my family physician know I'm on a bladder friendly diet. I get regular blood work by my physician and take Ester-C 500 mg daily.
When my Urology specialist suggested I take a medication for my OAB condition I immediately went to the Mayo Clinic website for more information. I found there is a link between food and bladder systems. With the Mayo Clinic list of foods which irritate the bladder I started eliminating the foods with acid.
All the foods I love are on the list however I've substitute with foods with no acid.
It's been almost three months since I started the OAB diet. I'm not wearing a thick pad day and night. I go shopping without looking for a public bathroom, and don't have dribbles soiling my clothes, and all the other aggravating things which go along with OAB.
You can google Mayo Clinic OAB diet plan to get the information.
This diet may not be for everyone, but its making my life much better and happier. 🌷
