@randallshields56 thank you Randall. Everything turned out good thank you very much. I hope you have a blessed day if I can only get this neuropathy under control having a hard hard time with my right foot I tried everything out here on the market. Nothing works. I’ve done the B12. I’ve done all the lotions. I’ve done the vibrating machines. If anybody’s got a solution please let me know. Thank you and may God bless us all.
I use a version of square breathing I call smooth circular aware breathing. Here's how it works. You start slowly breathing in, slowly increase the rate, then slowly slow the rate until you're holding your breath, then immediately but slowly start exhaling, slowly increase the rate then slowly slow the rate until you're holding your breath at the extreme exhale point. Repeat above - aware all along of what you're doing.
This is like square breathing but with the corners rounded out! I think the key is that by being aware of your breathing as you control it - you're getting your mind off your anxieties, if only for a few minutes. Square breathing accomplishes this, and so does the above! Try it!

1 ReactionMost welcom and have a blessed day today.
@malebreastcancer47, it’s not that easy. Anxiety attacks can be caused by external stress but often we don’t know why we’re having an attack. I get them most often from loud noises or people yelling (fighting) near me. It’s from my PTSD. I try to avoid what I know can cause me stress but I can’t avoid everyone or everything. We learn ways to get thru the anxiety and, with time, we might not react the same way.

Thank you so much for this great quote from Winston Churchill. I have heard it before, but not recently. So inspirational! Made my morning!
