Injection therapy for ED

Posted by CapnHal @capnhal, 6 days ago

Has anyone had a successful result from injection therapy? I got a great result from Viagra for a decade, but it eventually lost its efficacy. I'm not crazy about sticking a needle in my penis, but that seems to be my best option at this point.

Yes, erections can last well over 2.5 hours. I had one lasting over 4 hours. I took Sudafed, which wasn't effective so I injected the antidote.

I've been a Trimix user for years, even before I had RALP three years ago. I've never had an issue with using the needle to inject myself, and the miniscule amount of pain is overwhelmed by the success of the compound. I had ED prior to my RP and the Trimix gave me erections like the good old days. My surgery ruined the nerves that allow erections (which seemingly were in bad shape anyway) and I had two choices available: keep going with the Trimix or have a penile implant. I chose Trimix because it leads to blood filling up the penis and I like that feeling. I believe those men that profess to love their implants, but my wife's desires have waned with time, and I couldn't see going that route unless I was planning on having a lot more sex than we do. I freeze syringes with the Trimix in them and even after two years, the meds still work. That makes Trimix economically sound for me.

@tomf I have found similar results for the same reason. I lost some penile length wtih surgery or maybe the 5 years that I did nothing. I have been active again the last year with the help of trimix. I decided on not doing the implant as well for the same reason. Plus the switch that would go in my scrotum is about testicle size. seems it might get crowed if I ever go with an AUS device. I am 74. My partner is 68. We enjoy the insertion. I have been freezing the compound and found it still effective at 1 year. I have the medication still works up to 4 days at room temp. i have not tried longer. How do you plan travel or vacation packing. I found it easier to skip sex for a week. Although its harder when you know you cant rather than choosing not to.

@capnhal isn’t 2.5 hrs long time but you don’t mean it stay hard 2.5 hours? I have tried a lot of methods, not the shots but maybe I try it. My primary doc said I should try it, but it the whole idea of a shot.

@ghostmission1 LOL. You take that needle and find a 10 or 2 spot on your penis and hold it straight . Give a push. You would be surprised how easy it is knowing whats waiting for you.

Shot is no big deal, but all I got out of it was a thicker penis. Nothing helpful.
