muscle weakness from blood thinners like Eliquis

I have been taking Eliquis for paroxysmal atrial fibrillation Recently, I have experienced muscle weakness in my arms and knees. Has anyone experienced this type of issue

I’ve had problems with Plavix, which causes severe itching for me. Eliquis causes me to have severe leg and foot cramps. It seems as if all of these drugs have side effects that makes me wonder if it’s worth taking any of them at all.

I’ve had problems with Plavix, which causes severe itching for me. Eliquis causes me to have severe leg and foot cramps. It seems as if all of these drugs have side effects that makes me wonder if it’s worth taking any of them at all.

@fabia01 It's strictly a personal calculus....the 5X risk of a stroke if you're in persistent or permanent arrhythmia, but chiefly AF, or take the drugs and hope your system eventually overcomes its objections to them.
