Do you see only one Doctor?

Because I go to Florida in the winter I see a family practice physician here and I see my regular Internal Medicine Doctor up north. When I received my new 4.0 results mailed them to my doc up north. I have not received a response but I didn’t ask him to respond. Do any of you see another Doc, such as a cardiologist as well. The only response I heard here in Fl was “they’ll take another CT next year if it’s groan they will send me to a surgeon. What I’m left with is anxiety. I have refilled by Lorazapam. Because it’s scary and I’m afraid if I get anxious my blood pressure will go up.Should I ask to see a cardiologist?

@camb40 I live in Florida, but have multiple cardiologists. I have a local one in Florida, one in Illinois where I do extended visits with family and at Mayo in Minnesota where my surgery is scheduled for April. I make sure to always share reports from one with the others. I also think it is important to get the yearly testing done at the same facility. I found the measurement varies from facility to facility.

@breick Thank you. I have had all of my CTs. done in Florida, although when I am up north I was hoping my Doctor there would consider doing one in 6 months and feel after listening to all of you o definitely should have a cardiologist. Good luck to you and God Bless.

@breick Thank you. How do many of you get an appointment at the Mayo Clinic or other famous hospitals. Is that done through your doctor. I’m
On Medicare with additional insurance. Do they take Medicare patients. God Bless you

@camb40 Mayo takes original Medicare with a supplement, but not many Advantage plans. There is a place on the Mayo website where you can self refer, but a referral from your Dr would probably be better.
