Has anyone used the oral medication for dry mouth (Sjogren's)?
I have Sjogrens and autoimmune issues. My mouth is getting more dry than ever. Night time is the WORSE. I have tried everything in the book. I know there is a medication that can help when all else fails.
I am wondering if anyone has tried it, and if so what did they think. Thanks

@laurabrown0808 I I use the same thing and it works great.
Pilocarpine
@kimmyw I'll look into it, thanks
I have more dry eye issues and joint pain issues. I use Systane eye drops and they work really well. Celebrex seems to work for joint pain for awhile then it doesn't. Does anyone use anything other than celebrex?

1 ReactionYes it works well
Some years ago I developed dry mouth/ eyes as part of another GI autoimmune illness.
I used all the Biotene products. The melts at night, spray at night if awake plus water at bedside. I had a couple of prescriptions too, but not pilocarpin.
The worst side effect of my dry mouth was my upper front teeth becoming see through.
I was able to get caps for them.
After immunosuppressive therapy, my dry mouth disappeared.
